Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Let everything other than this moment slip away. Breathe and simply be here.

You are a cat in a sunbeam. You bask in the light, feeling your skin and fur grow warmer. Your muscles relax. You practically melt into the surface beneath you. This is paradise. For the next few minutes, You pay attention to nothing except the pleasure of being in this sunbeam.

As the sunlight shifts, you crack one eye open lazily. You notice that only 90% of you is still bathing in the warmth of the sun. You lift your head a bit and yawn. Then, lying on your side, you stretch all 4 paws out to their farthest limit. You wiggle your body, just a bit, inching back into the sunbeam until you are completely surrounded by light. Nothing else matters. You bask again, shutting out the rest of the world. This is perfection. Take as long as you wish now to enjoy yourself in the sun.
